Terms of Service

1. The service

CostSave.cloud ("CostSave", "we", "us") is a cloud cost analysis tool that connects to your cloud accounts using read-only access and generates savings reports. The service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future — the core scanner will remain free.

2. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Cloud account access

When you connect a cloud account, you grant CostSave permission to:

• Read resource metadata (names, sizes, regions, configurations)
• Read billing and cost data
• Read activity and usage metrics

CostSave will never:

• Create, modify, or delete any resource in your cloud accounts
• Access application data, database contents, or file contents
• Share your cloud data with third parties (except as described in our Privacy Policy)

By connecting an account, you confirm you have the necessary permissions to grant read-only access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code from the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download data from the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Use the service to store or transmit malicious code
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without written permission

5. Intellectual property

CostSave and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Printf Technologies and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your cloud data remains yours. We claim no ownership over scan results or resource data generated from your accounts.

6. Disclaimers

• We do not guarantee that scan results are complete or error-free.
• Savings recommendations are informational only — you are solely responsible for any changes you make to your infrastructure.
• We are not responsible for any costs, losses, or damages resulting from actions you take based on CostSave's recommendations.
• Service availability is not guaranteed. We may perform maintenance or experience downtime without notice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Printf Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for a free account, is zero).

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
